CARROLLTON ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB
GENERAL INFORMATION
2007-08

The Carrollton Athletic Booster Club is a group of over 450 members consisting of parents and community members that support Trojan athletics.  The Booster Club supports the 50 athletic teams that are a part of the Carrollton City School System.  The Booster Club meets the first Monday of each month in the Whitley Morris Field house at 7 p.m.  Meeting dates for this year are as follows:  September 10, October 1, November 5, and December 3, 2007
                         January 7, February 4, March 3, April 7, and May 5, 2008

The Booster Club’s main goal, in cooperation with the athletic department, school administration, and student athletes, is to help provide the tools necessary to compete at the highest levels and graduate with the best possible experience.  One of the goals is for every family with a child in one of our athletic programs (grades 6-12) to join the Athletic Booster Club.  Therefore, a second tier of Booster Club membership is available.  Booster Club membership tiers are listed below.

The Booster Club’s budget is over $200,000.  The majority of the revenue comes from membership dues, reserved parking sales, concession operations and the Ben Scott Sports Auction.  Our investment in student athletes covers such areas as letter jackets, camps, meals, trophies, banquets, transportation, athletic equipment, and clinics.  As the investment in student athletics grows, so must our commitment.  This year Booster Club funds that are used for camp, will be made available to athletes of booster club members only.  One hundred dollars will be paid towards an athlete’s camp fees with, at least, a $30 membership fee.

Please consider joining the Trojan Athletic Booster Club and supporting our Trojan sports.  Membership dues are as follows:

Tier #1-  Season ticket holders (max. 4 tickets)  $60 per year per family
$15 per ticket membership surcharge for any additional season tickets over 4.

Tier #2-  Non-season ticket holders $30 per year per family
